Das believes that challenges keeps oneself going and the best way to deal
with them is to face them and solve them with an open and cool mind

Job Profile: Since 1999, Das has been associated with Kobian India.
Based out of Singapore, she works with partners throughout India and is
responsible for sales and marketing initiatives for products that include
monitors, motherboards and input devices as well as consumer and lifestyle
products. Over the period of her relationship with the company, she has
developed a strong distribution network in the country. Her career of 11years at
Kobian has been enriching as it has helped her to grow as an individual and as a
professional.

Background: Born and brought up in Delhi, her association with
Microbiology seems obvious as both, her grandfather and father are among the
leading homeopathy physicians. Her husband, Vineet is a civil engineer and they
have a 9-year old daughter, Ira. Das did her schooling at St Thomas' School, and
graduated from the University of Delhi with degree in Applied Sciences. She also
holds an MBA degree in operations and marketing management. Das started her
career as a Microbiologist, and moved to Singapore to start her professional
career with Kobian.

Inspiration: Besides her father, its her mother who is a source of
inspiration for her. She groomed Das to become a wonderful wife and a loving
mother. Das has grown up visualizing her father's passion towards medicine,
which gives her immense strength at the professional front. Professionally, she
believes that Rajesh Bothra, CEO, Kobian Group of Companies, is her mentor.

Challenges: To strike a balance between personal and professional
life, is the most challenging part of any working professional, she feels. She
truly believe it depends on the individual and the support system of the family.
Her husband has been her strength throughout the challenging career path, which
has helped her at personal and professional front. She also believes that
challenges at workplace keeps oneself going. She feels that the best way to deal
with challenges is to face them and solve them with an open and cool mind.

Interests and Hobbies: Das starts her day at 6:30 am as any other
homely mother does, and rushes her daughter to the school. She spends sometime
with herself and then she digs into the regular newspaper and gets news updates
on television. She leave for office at 9:00 am. For Das, Sunday means a family
day. At home she likes to spend time with her family, listening to good music
and playing board games with her daughter. Giving a peace of advice, Das said
that every working mother should take out quality and quantity time for their
children to give them a cherished childhood. As a typical Cancerian, she is a
family person and whenever time permits, Das enjoys reading. She likes all forms
of art that include music and painting but something that gives her peace of
mind is sketching and oil painting. Her favorite holiday destination is Langkawi,
which she believes is a scenic paradise. During weekends, she loves to bake with
her daughter, and according to her it's the best time that she enjoys the most.
Das likes Bengali Loochi and Begun Bhaja. She is an ardent fan of Aamir Khan and
Tom Hanks, though she rarely gets time to watch their movies.

The Road Ahead: Referring to her association with the Kobian family,
she said that every step of growing Mercury business in India has added to her
accomplishment list. With a 11 year old journey in the IT industry, Das wants to
rise further and believes in the philosophy of staying hungry for more. Scaling
up for new heights in the IT sector is her aim for the future.
