Adobe extends Linux support for Reader 7.0

Adobe Systems has announced the immediate availability of Adobe Reader 7.0 for the Linux operating system. Adobe now supports the ability to view and print content across all major operating systems in the enterprise. 

Combined with LiveCycle server software, Reader 7.0 for Linux lets individuals participate in business processes and interact with many types of content more securely, both on- and off-line, inside and outside the firewall. The Intelligent Document Platform gives organizations the ability to create and integrate intelligent documents that can be accessed and interacted with through the ubiquitous Adobe Reader. 

Reader 7.0 is free, universal client software that delivers the ability to reliably view and navigate Adobe PDF files across various operating systems, hardware and mobile device platforms. Additionally, Adobe Reader users can participate in document reviews when enabled by Acrobat 7.0 Professional, enforce security and control policies on PDF files and have Yahoo! Search capabilities. Reader 7.0 for Linux supports Novell SUSE and Red Hat Linux distributions and is available at
