Aladdin Knowledge Systems aligns with SecureSynergy

Mumbai: Aladdin Knowledge Systems has tied up with SecureSynergy to offer
secure surfing and secure mailing services to enterprises and SME sector across
India at "very affordable rates". The offering will give the clients a
centralized, value-added security service that inspects and filters web traffic
as well as email traffic before it reaches the organization or the web surfer.
The alliance aims to give subscribers the freedom from maintaining and managing
any kind of appliances at their site to thwart threats such as spam mails,
spy-ware and phishing attacks.

Commenting on the association, Shailendra Sahasrabudhe, Country Manager,
Aladdin Knowledge Systems said, "Email and Internet are integral tools in
today's business organizations. Along with the numerous benefits they bring on
table, there are many challenges every enterprise needs to encounter. Today
small and medium businesses often lack skills and money to choose and manage the

SecureSynergy is offering two services - assure and stream built around
Aladdin's eSafe platform. Incidentally, it has been rumored that Anil Menon, CEO
of SecureSynergy is not longer with the company and has moved onto a global MNC,
which is a leader in servers and mainframes. An official for the company
mentioned that he has been promoted to as director of the company but was
unwilling to comment about his reported movement from the company.
