For Allied Digital Services (ADS), 2002-03 was an year of growth, in every sense. The company grew its agency revenues by 15% from Rs 65 crore in 2000-02 to Rs 75 crore in last fiscal. It claimed a significant growth in its bottomline too. 

ADS expanded geographically by opening offices in 14 new locations, taking the total number to 56. It added over 250 employees in the last fiscal, becoming a 650-member strong workforce. And even in the Next 25 ranking, the company jumped a whooping 12 notches to reach #28 from #40 last year. There were many feathers that got added to this Mumbai-based SI's cap. It bagged a Rs 13 crore-project from GAIL, Rs 5 crore-deal from IDBI, Rs 4 crore-order from Pfizer, carried out WLAN implementation at the Oberoi's Hotel and did significant work in putting in place a wireless network at Reliance's
DAKC.

The company also got HP's master parts reseller (MPR) status as well as dealer partner service provider (DPSP) status at 11 locations from the principal. Additionally, it was appointed as the authorized service partner for Apple mobile devices. ADS had major successes with PSU clients and undertook significant projects in the retailing and energy sector. It also won some large orders for IBM and Microsoft and continued to do good sale of HP servers. 

“In the first four months of this fiscal, we have already achieved over 50% of our last year turnover. We are confident of a wonderful growth this year,” informs Nitin Shah, MD. ADS is putting a lot of focus on setting service standards, making it more process-driven and even eyeing offshore projects.
