AMD launches AMD LIVE! notebook

AMD introduced the AMD LIVE! notebook PC, an easy-to-use mobile media center
designed to help consumers simplify their digital lifestyle.

AMD also announced the AMD LIVE! Home Cinema and AMD LIVE! Home Media Server,
two new consumer electronics platform designs, as well as additions to the AMD
LIVE! Entertainment Suite, to further enhance digital entertainment experiences.

AMD LIVE! help the consumers to access their digital media virtually anytime,
anywhere regardless of file format or device form factor. "The AMD LIVE!
family of products and software provides a unique media solution to meet a range
of consumer needs, from basic multimedia users to savvy audio visual
enthusiasts," said Joe Menard, Corporate Vice President of AMD's Consumer
Business.

The AMD LIVE! notebook PC powered by AMD Turion 64 X2 dual-core mobile
technology has the same powerful media center features as the AMD LIVE! desktop
PC. It enables access to digital media outside the home, plus the ability to
manage content or schedule TV program recordings remotely with the AMD LIVE!
Entertainment Suite.

The AMD LIVE! Home Cinema is a home entertainment system that consolidates
audio-visual devices and related remote controls into a simple, all-in-one
"living room" solution. Powered by energy-efficient AMD Athlon 64 X2
dual-core processors, it enables theater-quality media experience with
high-definition video, integrated 100 watt per channel surround sound audio and
Internet capability in a stylish CE form factor.
