Apcom launches DX-5008F switch

Apcom has launched the DX-5008F switch, which offers an economical way to
upgrade your network performance to switched fast Ethernet. The DX-5008F
provides 10Mbps and 100Mbps dedicated bandwidths in each port which is required
by most users for common operations. This also aids in relieving serious
congestion, helps run multimedia applications and satisfies power users.

The DX-5008F switch adheres to both Ethernet and Fast Ethernet standards to
ensure compatibility and inter-operability. It is housed in a desktop case and
provides a comprehensive status LED panel giving network information for ease of
diagnostics and troubleshooting.

The optional 100Mbps fiber port of DX-5008F offers convenient fiber backbone
and inter-building connection where distance and safety are required. The
optional fiber module supports all fiber standard including Sc/ST/MTRJ/VF45
connections and multi-mode/single-mode media.
