ASUS Eee PC launched

ASUS Technology announced the availability of ASUS Eee PC, which is a mobile
computing option for Internet browsing, learning and entertainment.

According to Andrew Tsui, MD, ASUS India, "The ASUS Eee PC is a highly
portable gadget, which is lightweight and rugged. It is aimed at fulfilling the
computing needs of youngsters and people who prefer carrying lightweight PCs
with optimum connectivity. Learning and enjoyment is equally convenient on the
ASUS Eee PC. It has been made to be extremely user friendly. We are planning to
launch this product in India soon."

Compact and highly portable at 7" and only 0.92kg in weight it comes
with two modes of intuitive graphic user interface design to accommodate both
experienced and inexperienced PC users. The Eee PC is also Windows XP
compatible, and comes with over 40 built-in applications.
