Canon’s new printer, ‘Xnu’

Canon
has launched its new Bubble Jet, XNU i320 printer. The XNU i320 ‘Borderless
Home Photo Printer’ is being targeted at the home and office user.

The XNU i320 weighs 2.4 Kg and measures 385mm x 195mm x 165mm. The XNU photo
printer also incorporates Canon’s Photo Noise Reduction technology which helps
eliminate ‘distorted color dots’ and makes pictures look more realistic.

In addition, the XNU i320 photo printer also uses Canon’s Vivid Photo and
Microfine droplet technologies to produce pictures at a resolution of 2400 x
1200dpi, which can then be printed at a speed of 10 pages per minute (ppm) in
monochrome and 7 ppm in color.

To economize on space the XNU printer has a foldable feeder tray and paper
holder. The XNU i320 photo printer also supports Exif Print 2.2, which enables
it to save and read camera settings as well as the shooting conditions (for
example, when flash is on or off). The printer is priced at Rs 6,995.
