CeBIT draws key tech executives

CeBIT America, the first CeBIT trade show in the US, was held between June
18-20, 2003 at Jacob K Javits Convention Center, New York. The event was backed
by a strong industry keynote series featuring CEOs of MCI, NTT DoCoMo USA,
PalmSource, and PeopleSoft. They addressed technology challenges affecting the
enterprise market at the inaugural technology trade show.

Opening the CeBIT America keynote series, Michael Capellas, Chairman,
President and CEO, MCI, made a presentation titled "The urge to converge:
Bridging together applications, data and voice on a single network". He
examined how convergence is moving beyond voice and data services to include
hosted, web-enabled and network-based applications that integrate seamlessly
into an IP environment.

David Nagel, President and CEO, PalmSource, focused on "Mobilizing the
enterprise," outlining ways companies can better select, deploy and manage
mobile devices.

In his presentation titled "Leadership and the real time
enterprise", Craig Conway, President and CEO, PeopleSoft, evaluated how
operating in real time addresses top business challenges and positions
organizations to lead in the next generation business.

Concluding the CeBIT America’s keynotes series Nobuharo Ono, President and
CEO, NTT DoCoMo USA, spoke on "Building on our successes: i-mode and FOMA",
in which he gave insights on ways to translate customer and business needs into
successful new wireless products and services.
