Ventura is a provider of customer management outsourcing services and part
of Ventura, UK. It launched its India operations on August 17, 2005 and has been
delivering customer management outsourcing services across verticals like
financial services, telecommunications, retail, government verticals and it has
many large blue chip, public sector and charitable organisations on their client
rolls.

It handles over 50 million inbound calls and five million outbound calls,
generating 500 million pounds in revenue. Ventura has invested £10 million in
its first offshore center outside of UK.

Current IT infrastructure of the company

The IT remit was to deliver a 2000-seat call center solution, which would be
interconnected to the Ventura UK operations in Leeds and Dearne Valley. The
scope of phase one (600 seats) was to install and commission 40% of the overall
infrastructure, back-office servers, desktop equipment and the entire Local area
and wide area networks. Phase II and III would be the setup of additional
infrastructure for 1,400 seats for different processes.

The company has 1 x Avaya S8700 ACD with associated Center Vu management for
telephony, networking includes modems, Krone-structured cabling, network
interface cards, Cisco switches, Cisco routers, Nortel multiplexes and Cisco
Pix.

For Wide Area Networks connected with Internet, bandwidth is provided by VSNL
and Reliance and 26x IPLC circuits. The company uses 26 mid-range servers
provided by HP. The personal workstations are based on Intel platform. HP
Storage solution is the SAN for storage solutions. Application tools and
solutions include Lotus Domino and Microsoft products. Network management tools
include Cisco View and Nortel MDM.

Proposed IT infrastructure for 2005-06

We require an additional 900 desktops. They include hardware and relevant
software.

Current systems supplier

AvayaGlobal connect provides a fully managed service for ACD and associated
Desktop equipment. Cable & Wireless provide a fully managed service for all
Desktop, Data, and LAN and WAN equipment. Our current suppliers include Cisco,
Nortel, Avaya, Krone, HP, Bluecoat, Brother and Sun.
