Cisco launches Pulse program for channel

Cisco Systems has launched Pulse, a country wide program to facilitate uniform learning and growth in advanced technologies for its channel partners. The program, which is a focused technology training initiative conducted by Cisco system engineers, covers pre-sales and sales modules and is delivered to partners on a monthly cycle across the country. 

Commenting on this initiative, Shirish Joshi, VP-Channels, Cisco Systems (India &
SAARC) said, "With an increasing number of client sites deploying advanced technology solutions such as IP-Tel and wireless WAN, it is imperative that our channel partners are appropriately equipped to service customers' needs.” He further added that Cisco understands that with a rapid pace at which technology is changing and with the newer solutions Cisco is going to market with, it is very important to keep partners updated. 

The Pulse program initiative is aimed at achieving this in both metro and non-metro locations, providing training to partners on a regular and ongoing basis such that they can effectively manage the on ground situation. “The end objective is to enhance customer satisfaction with timely and superior services irrespective of the client's location," commented
Shirish.

The Pulse program is to be executed in India over the next year. The training is conducted in batches of 20 people, thus ensuring individual attention by quality trained professionals.
