If it was server virtualization the year before, in FY10 Frontier concentrated on desktop virtualization and managed services. While it is a partner for Vmware, Citrix, Platespin, Marathon Technologies, ThinPrint, Datacore and Vizion Core, the company has walked the talk and moved all its internal physical infrastructure and applications on to the virtualization platform and also built a green datacenter. While the internal virtualization cost Rs 3 crore, the LEED certified green datacenter cost $4 million. In managed services too, Frontier has managed to strike gold and signed up seven customers.

Frontier offered a whole gamut of solutions from enterprise computing, networking solutions to virtualization and application delivery. The company has the distinction of being one of the two channel partners in India to achieve certification for Dynamic Infrastructure, an IBM's Smart Planet initiative. By moving into managed services, Frontier has already managed to strike gold and has signed up with almost seven customers in a month.Last year the company also got the ISO 27001:2005 certificate for its safety and security of information. It also received LEED CI gold rating in January 2010 for eco-friendly methods implemented while designing its Bengaluru office. While last year Frontier was concentrating on server virtualization, this year the focus is on desktop virtualization and managed services and the company annually spends about Rs 1 crore in trainings and investments in Proof Of Concepts (POCs).
