DLT VS80 from Quantum

Quantum
Coporation has launched ATL ValueLoader DLT VS80, the first Quantum 2U,
rack-optimized autoloader to utilize the Quantum DLT VS80 half-high tape drive.
The rack-optimized ValueLoader product uses a single DLT VS80 tape drive with an
eight-cartridge capacity and up to 640 GB of data storage and 21.6 GB/hour
throughput.

The ValueLoader autoloader uses an LCD display to operate the loader like an
accessorized tape drive with a natural language, menu-driven interface. Among
other features, it also has single import/export slot for simplified cartridge
handling and management. The autoloader also offers an optimal backup
configuration.

The ATL ValueLoader DLT VS80 autoloader is priced at Rs 4 lakh and comes with
one-year Rapid Exchange standard warranty with two and three-year upgrades
available.
