46. GOING STRONG: In Enterprise

Nexus Computers ended fiscal 2001-02 with agency revenues of Rs 42 crore showing a growth of 31 percent over last year's turnover. The company also improved its ranking in the Next 25 Group by climbing four notches from last year #50 to #46 this year.

During the year, the company introduced several new products and completed the WAN project for the Al Suwaidi Group based in Saudi Arabia. It also chalked out business initiatives to tap the market potential in the Gulf market. 

During last fiscal, Intel also recognized Nexus Computers as its premier provider. The company gained recognition for its skills in designing and developing e-Business solutions based on Intel products. 

As an Intel premier provider, the company today is a preferred source for end-to-end Intel-based e-Business and product solutions. With exclusive access to product and solutions information, marketing tools, technical support and training options, the company is now beneficially positioned to offer advanced solutions to clients. 

Nexus Computers also bagged IBM´s Best Systems Integrator ­ Enterprise Systems Group award in recognition of its outstanding performance during 2001. Most of their business in this area came from infrastructure and storage area network solutions. 

This year looks good for Nexus, with its order book boasting names like Tamilnadu Mercantile Bank, Intel Asia and Alliance Bajaj Capital, among others.
