HCL kickstarts retail program

HCL Infosystems has announced the launch of its premier league retail
program. It aims to strengthen the relationship with retailers by working
closely with them in promoting Intel processor-based HCL Leaptops and by
offering a wide spectrum of benefits and advantages that create a value-added
proposition for retailers.

It has been classified into four separate tiers: Platinum, Diamond, Gold and
Falcon. Each classification has been specifically designed to correlate to a
specific benefit and profit advantage for partners catering to each of the
tiers.

Rajendra Kumar, Executive VP, HCL Infosystems said, “Our vision reinstates
our patronage towards our partners and retailers, and together we have been able
to create India's largest ICT distribution and retail network. As an attempt
to facilitate and recognize our most valued retailers we are happy to launch
industry's most innovative retailer enabling program-the HCL premier league.”

Under the HCL premier league retail program, retailers are entitled to
special benefits and advantages. It has been rolled out from mid July and will
continue till December 2008.
