Hitachi appoints Neoteric as second distributor

Hitachi Global Storage Technologies (GST) has appointed Neoteric as a
distributor to make Hitachi hard drives available to the enterprise and consumer
segments. The disty will serve resellers and systems integrators by providing
Hitachi GST's complete range of mobile, desktop, server and Microdrive
products. It will also provide value-added solutions to address vertical
segments such as digital photography and the growing consumer electronics
market.

"Hitachi GST's current India distributor, Cyberstar Infocom and
Neoteric will work together to enable Hitachi GST's portfolio of HDD products
to reach all segments of the vast India storage market," said Hitachi GST
Asia Pacific (South) GM, Jaya Dharan. Last year Hitachi GST began making
investments to meet the diversified needs of India, which has resulted in
significant market share gains.

Neoteric MD, Paras Shah said, "Neoteric chose to collaborate with
