IBM introduces ThinkPad notebook

IBM unveiled the ThinkPad R40e notebook with mobile Intel Pentium 4
processor. It is a combination of four P's - power, portability, patents and
price. The R40e also has IBM-specific ThinkVantage technologies. The notebook
has Microsoft Windows XP Home, 256 MB RAM, 40 GB HDD, 4200 RPM, DVD-ROM, 10/100
ethernet, 6-cell Li-Ion battery, 35.8 cm (14.1 in) XGA TFT monitor. It is
available at Rs 52,990. It comes with a one-year warranty, rescue and recovery
software.
