Indian IT channel welcomes Secure Computing

New Delhi: Indian re-sellers gave a big thumbs-up to California based Secure
Computing Corporation as it formally announced its entry into India and
showcased in array of products.

The products include Web Gateway Security products (primarily WebWasher),
Messaging Gateway Security (IronMail), Network Gateway Security (SideWinder
& Snapgear) and Identity and Access management (SafeWord).

Benjamin Low, MD, India and South East Asia, Secure Computing, Derek Morwood,
Sales Manager-APAC and Japan, Secure Computing and the recently appointed Ajit
Pillai, Country Manager, India & SAARC, Secure Computing addressed the
channel partners.

The channel partners present at the meets that were held from November 26 to
29, 2007 in Chennai, Mumbai and New Delhi expressed tremendous support and
enthusiasm to Secure Computing's technology and its products in India.

Said Low, "We have an extensive customer base including US Department of
Defense, Citibank, Cisco besides India customers like VSNL and BSE. We have now
a sales and marketing operation in India to address the larger market. In India,
we have e-Guardian and Select Technologies as distributors to help us fasten the
reach of our products to the Indian market and capitalize on the success of our
early large customer wins. Many channel partners and their customers already
know of us, so we look forward to leverage that goodwill as well."
