Infosys Internet banking solution on Windows Server 2003

Microsoft Corporation India has announced that Finacle eChannels developed by Infosys Technologies Ltd, would be the first Internet banking application to be made available on Windows Server 2003. The two companies will jointly market the product in the APac region. 

Commenting on the same, Sanjiv Mathur, Group Marketing Manager, Microsoft Corporation India said, "Our partnership with Infosys is of immense importance, and the company has been a strategic partner for several years. We are glad that Infosys is at the forefront of what is the most significant launch for us this year."

"Our state-of-the-art consumer e-banking solution Finacle eChannels has once again adopted the latest trend in technology for the benefit of our customers. When we evaluated Microsoft Windows 2003, we found the platform faster and more agile than the earlier Windows 2000 and so, we decided to port Finacle eChannels on to Windows 2003. We were happy to note substantial performance improvements while at the same time keeping the TCO low. Finacle eChannels on Windows 2003 will, we believe add great value to our mutual customers," said Girish Vaidya, Sr VP and Head Banking Business Unit, Infosys Technologies.
