Iomega debuts disk-to-disk autoloader

Iomega Corporation introduced IomegaAE REVT Autoloader 1000. The autoloader
is a 2U single-drive desktop device, featuring 10-slots for a native capacity of
350GB (700GB with 2:1 software compression).

Dual SCSI interfaces on the autoloader allows the drive to connect to a
server and a Network Attached Storage (NAS) device. Web-based configuration
tools and a front operator control panel give the user simple access to key
settings, for configuring, controlling, monitoring, and updating the REV
Autoloader.

Iomega's REV technology can transfer data at rates of up to 25MB/sec.
Optional accessories include remote management unit, bar code reader and
19" rack mount kit.

It will be available for Rs 1,28,744. A three-year worldwide warranty is
standard.
