A steady growth of 9%, brought Iris Computers a revenue of Rs 208 crore. It steadfastedly held on to its #8 position in the Silver Club. Among the significant projects that the company bagged, were orders from Myrill Lynch worth Rs 3.5 crore as well as from GAIL and MP Electricity Board worth Rs 3 crore each.

Iris has a busy year as it increased its reseller base in C-class cities, taking the total number from 750 to 900. Sanjiv Krishen, Chairman, states, “Iris has always enjoyed the trust and mutual rewarding association with its channel. This is why we now have over 900 resellers all over India, and this number is growing.”

He adds that the company's strength is its network of resellers across the country who are experienced in dealing with premium products and give prime importance to customer satisfaction. 

The company followed a policy of being committed to provide value-for-money to it's customers, ensuring complete satisfaction. Sanjiv informs, ”We have achieved phenomenal growth through our business flexibility, knowledge of the industry and a down-to-earth approach to customers.” He adds that it focussed its activities on channel development, quality consciousness, service orientation in distribution business.

The company also made sure that stocks were available to partners consistently with extended shipment hours of 9am to 9pm, seven days a week. This move was highly appreciated by its dealer network. “Our revenue target for the current year is Rs 250 crore revenue,” adds
Sanjiv.
