The offer is to ensure rich rewards to its partners.

Lexmark also announced its reseller program for the quarter - 'Printer Becho, Paise Chhapo' (PBPC). It is a points-based program. Each printer model of Lexmark will carry certain points. The points increase as the range moves from entry level to high-end AIO models. There is a slab system, which will work from five points to 20 points. The reseller would be rewarded accordingly.

PG Kamath, GM, Lexmark International (India) commented, "Both programs are to reward achievers and motivate other channel distributors to raise the bar. Channel Partners provide a strong network for distribution and sales and will ensure the success of the product as well as the brand." PBPC will enthuse more resellers to enroll as Lexmark Premium Partners as well as ensure sell through.

Under the leadership of PG Kamath, Lexmark India has been on a steady growth path in a short span of two years. IDC has reported that Lexmark has achieved 9.19% market share in the inkjet printer business and retained its second position in the AIO business in the second quarter of 2004.
