Logitech introduces QuickCam for notebooks

Logitech has introduced QuickCam, a web camera for notebooks. It features an
integrated notebook mount that attaches to any laptop and folds up for compact
storage and lens protection.

QuickCam offers video capture of up to 640x480 pixels and still image capture
of up to 1280x960 pixels, 1.3 megapixels (interpolated). It has a frame rate of
up to 30 frames per second.

Among other features, QuickCam can zoom in and out, pan or tilt and comes
with a range of software. These include Logitech IM Video Companion,
video-enabled Yahoo messenger, video-broadcasting software, motion detection and
animation software. It also comes with video editing and image editing softwares.
