Logitech launches 'Go Optical' exchange program

As part of its strategy to drive optical devices, Logitech has announced its ´Go Optical' exchange offer program for India. It has also launched a slew of black products including mice and keyboards. The company believes that these steps will upgrade the ball-mouse market in India to optical mouse at very affordable prices to consumers.

The objective of the program is to educate Indian consumers on the various advantages of optical technology over ball-mouse technology. End-users can bring in their old mouse and take a new Logitech optical mouse for Rs 465 (exclusive of octroi). The program will run from 1st June to 30th June, 2004 and is valid on selected models of optical mice.

Logitech India's Country Manager Rahul Bindal says, "The introduction of two-year warranty is a way to tell consumers of our commitment and assurance to them."
