Microtek launches new UPS

Microtek International Ltd’s new range of e.MaxPower UPS have wider input
range with an AVR (Automatic voltage regulation) of 135 VAC to 300 VAC. This
means the UPS can be on AVR mode for an input range of 135 VAC up to 300 VAC.

The wide AVR range ensures that these UPSs do not switch over to the battery
even if the input voltage dips to as low as 135 volts. It switches over to the
battery only when the input voltage dips below 135 VAC or goes above 300 VAC.

The UPS is FCC (USA) approved, and comes with a two-year warranty for the
electronics and one-year warranty for the battery.

The two models currently available are the e.Max Power 600VA UPS priced at Rs
4,500 and the 725VA UPS priced at Rs 5,500.c
