The company diversified into solutions and system integration with the formation
of Silicon Comnet in 1995. Today, the group has the most versatile and diverse
solutions portfolio. Right from the PC peripherals to server components,
networking, data and voice solutions to Internet security.

Copper and fiber optic based turnkey structured cabling solutions, integrated
voice and data solutions, IP telephony / voice over IP solutions, campus wide
connectivity solutions, integration solutions for telecom service providers and
wireless LAN / WAN solutions, are some of the arrows in the company's armor.
The large customer base of the company is also quite versatile with customers
like Indian Army, Indian Navy, Hutch, NIIT, JK Industries et all.

Silicon Comnet was incorporated in 1995 with the objective of providing
simplified infrastructure solutions. SCPL addresses the growing demand for the
cost-effective technology infrastructure solutions across geographically
dispersed locations. The company's mission is to leverage its technology
partnerships on a global scale to deliver cost-effective solutions for the
emerging network centric world. Silicon Comnet has the objective of becoming
leading converged business solution provider for enterprises.

Together with Renovision, the division that takes care of Epson printers
servicing and has now launched its own photo paper brand, Silicon Comnet works
under the umbrella organisation of OA Compserve.

Customers today want end-to-end solutions from a company. The vendor has to
be a one-stop shop for all the IT deployment needs of its customers. The key to
OA's success is therefore, not just the focused approach towards winning the
customers but also its ability to grapple with the best of breed technology.

To keep pace with the changing technology and manage a large customer base
with diverse solutions' needs, the company has various specialized divisions
for various solutions. It has segregated itself into four divisions, catering to
diverse industry needs. The four divisions are namely, SiliconUniv, SiliconVal,
SiliconServ and SiliconSols.

In
order to keep abreast with latest happenings in technologies, a regular training
was needed for in-house work force. Keeping this in mind, SiliconUniv was
evolved in 1997, to impart trainings in upcoming technologies. Silicon Comnet's
Support division, SiliconServ monitors, optimizes and manages IT infrastructure
across the country, through its branches located at Mumbai, Kolkata, Chandigarh
and Jaipur.

Silicon Comnet's Value division, SiliconVal provides consultancy,
assessment and solutions for security, convergence of data and voice and quality
of service, server and storage. Silicon Comnet's crux division, SiliconSols,
offers cost effective infrastructure solutions for networks dispersed
geographically, cabling and wireless solutions.
