NetScreen, Ingram enter distribution alliance

NetScreen's line of hardware-based network security appliances and systems will be distributed by Ingram Micro India. These products are integrated with firewall, virtual private network (VPN), denial of service protection, and intrusion prevention functionality. It is combined with NetScreen's centralized management tool that provide customers comprehensive security from the core to the edge of enterprise and carrier networks. 

"NetScreen has already taken a leading market position worldwide and in Asia for high-end security systems for the telco/carrier and for easy-to-use appliances for the enterprise," says VP of APac Sales at NetScreen, Hansen Chang. "Therefore, we are extremely delighted to have found a strategic and valuable partner in Ingram Micro who will enable us to extend our distribution reach to end-users in Asean and India," he added.
