PARK ELECTRONIK: A consistent performer

Some impressive highlights at Park for 2004-05 include bagging distribution
rights for Microsoft hardware and Sony. It was recently appointed as the
regional distributor for AOC brand CRT and TFT monitors in north India.
Initially targeting

the NCR region around Delhi, the company is planning to take these products to
other parts of North India subsequently.

Taiwan-based TPV Technology, which owns AOC brand, is already present in
India for several years and has offices in Gurgaon and Bangalore. The vendor
claims to have shipped over 1.1 million monitors through the OEM route in 2004.
For the coming months, a major portion of this growth is likely to come from
Park Electronik.

The distributor registered a growth of 30% in FY 2004-05, clocking a turnover
of Rs 60 crore. Ajaya attributes this growth to a good mix of product portfolio,
which includes push as well as pull products. The new branches will begin
operations with a set of pull products and will later expand to include premium
push products.

In its bid to better equip its 18-member sales team, Park Electronik has
engaged itself towards providing regular training to its employees.
