PCS launches the Xeon-based Server

PCS Industries launched the SiiRUS Enterprise 1 QP 4-way Intel Xeon processors-based server. SiiRUS is a highly scalable sever ideal for
business applications with mission critical functionality and for corporate data centers.

According to PCS, the SiiRUS Enterprise 1 QP is based on the Intel SPSH4 platform and the 4-way CPU support provide
uncompromising performance required for eliminating bottle-necks in data flow and running
performance-intensive applications. The Key features include Hot Plug in PCI support, a memory of 24GB, 8 expansion slots making it a truly scalable
solution.

The complete SiiRUS range is available in one-way and two-way Xeon-based servers. The SiiRUS server is LINUX and
Microsoft certified for Windows, Novell certified for Netware and SCO Unix certified. The SiiRUS server range
offer host of features including onboard Ultra 320 SCSI , single or dual Gigabit Ethernet port and is PCI X ready.
