Pinnacle debuts MediaCenter

Pinnacle Systems has introduced the MediaCenter, a solution that transforms
ordinary PCs and laptops into complete entertainment centers. It can be used for
multiple applications, doing away with the need to buy separate digital
equipment for various functions. It comprises of the MediaCenter Application and
the MediaManager, a media management software.

Priced at Rs 2,990, the MediaCenter will be available in leading IT malls and
stores across the country starting April 2005. It also allows users to organize
and manage all files using playlists and media tags, build one's own music and
video library by importing audio CD tracks and Video files.

It is also possible to watch and record live TV programs, converting your PC
into a Personal Video Recorder (PVR). The PVR functionality comes as an optional
feature with add-on PCTV rave at a minimal additional cost of Rs 2,990.
