Park group

Founded in 1995, Ajaya Kumar's Park Group is a well known name in the IT solution and channel fraternity. Today, the group has become Rs 100 crore company with a chain of offices across various states. In FY 10, Park Electronik added both computer and peripheral vendors to its list of principals. Significantly, Lenovo appointed Park Computers as one of its regional distributors in Delhi, replacing Comnet Vision. Subsequently, in the AMJ quarter, Park Electronik touched a scale of selling 700 units of Lenovo products. Park also added Acer and Canon as principals for Delhi and NCR region. For Canon, the company subsequently planned to appoint two partners in every district of Haryana. With similar business plans and strategies that helped him in the earlier years. Kumar wanted to turn Park Group into a Rs 200 crore company over the period of next five years. Park Group now offers a range of solutions around networking products and video conferencing.

Early this year, it has signed a partnership deal with Canon for the distribution of IT products in Gurgaon, Faridabad and rest of parts in Haryana. The company has a strong presence in the northern market with offices in Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Hissar and Kurukshetra. Park Group majorly deals in Sony, Lenovo, AOC, D-Link, TVS-E, HP, Compaq, HCL, Samsung and Nokia. The company is already handling Sony VAIO's notebook business for Delhi and Haryana and has extended its range with Sony's projectors and PlayStation gaming consoles. The group is well positioned among IT channel partners, system integrators and resellers and sell to more than 600 active dealers.
