Incorporated in 1996, Chennai-based Precision Infomatic is clear about its course to provide customers with services which enable them to design, build, secure and manage their IT infrastructure. The company is equipped with the expertise to provide consulting, end-to-end integration and management to ensure continuous availability of IT services to meet various business objectives. The SI has a track record of executing over 300 challenging projects. The company consolidated its presence across India and recovered most of its outstanding money from the market. Precision added fresh clients in government, PSUs and defense, bagging several IT integration projects. Horizontally, it had significant client wins on IMS, virtualization and ERP implementations from across verticals. Its data center solutions also won laurels.

The dip in revenues in FY10 led Precision to consolidate their operations. The service business picked up. Third-party maintenance and support was the major contributor to the company's revenues. Major customer wins came in from government, BFSI, manufacturing and IT/BPO; though Precision did not ink any big deals in FY10. It started focusing on ERP solutions, VMware virtualization, Citrix solutions and Microsoft, Linux based deployments. Info-Drive Software which acquired 51 percent stake in Precision two years back completely backed the company during the recession.

The company's increased focus towards infrastructure management services and Remote Infrastructure Management (RIM) which helped generate more business from the IT/ITES segment, which is otherwise considered a badly hit market. BFSI segment has become a major driver of its network and information security solutions.
