Powercom launches UPS

Asia Powercom has introduced a UPS-IND600A. Supporting cold start with a
17" monitor load, the UPS is generator and inverter compatible. It is
tailor-made for Indian users, keeping in mind the power condition that is
prevalent in the country. It is ideally suited for computer systems that require
protection from surges, spikes and interruptions in input power. And now even in
those areas where electricity is unavailable and the customer works on inverter
or generator the new model will work absolutely fine.

The India-specific features of Powercom IND600A include AVR-Input Range
140V-300V, three Indian output sockets, one surge protected socket, circuit
breaker protection, off mode battery charging and telephone / Modem / LAN Surge
protector. The product is priced at Rs 2,000.
