Priya Ltd is out of the Silver Club at #37 position with a negative growth of 57%. It earned a total revenue of Rs 124 crore of which Rs 51 came from agency business

Two big vendors - Philips and Via - were added during the year with lot of hopes. However, the going was
not that easy.

"Promoting Philips is a big task than we thought it would be," admits out Aditya. He adds, "A lot of hardwork needs to be done for both our new entrants. And we are sure, that with the right amount of dedication, these new ventures will be successful.”

Although it was a bad year for Priya, the company relentlessly worked hard to recoup. Aditya Bhuwania, MD, firmly believes that the company will make a comeback soon. 

It is currently streamlining its operations after dropping LG, Teac and Traxdata on account of high duties and reduced margins. To absorb the drop in revenue, it reduced its branch offices from 30 to 23. 

In the current year, Priya has tied up with BTC for its optical products, and has plans to co-brand it with Krypton. As monsoon gets over, the company will again start its roadshows, which primarily promotes Krypton range of products. 

To buffer revenue, Priya is seriously looking revenue at offering services from its own service centers.
