Samsung unveils $Dollar partner program

Samsung India Electronics presents a channel incentive scheme - The $Dollar Program - where partners can win rewards ranging from cash to cars. The scheme, which will run till March 27, 2004, is applicable on Samsung's monitors, hard disk drives and optical media storage products. 

On the purchase of any of these products from a Star Elite partner, the dealer can get a cheque in four different colors, depending on the purchased product. Each of these cheques have a certain pre-defined value which will be called Samsung dollar. These dollars can then be converted into cash at the Samsung Xchange rate. 

"At Samsung, the focus has been on ensuring healthy growth in revenues and profitability for all channel partners", comments Sonal Anand, National Product Head - Volume IT, Samsung India Electronics.

The dollars can be redeemed from any Samsung Star Elite partner. Each cheque, in addition to
having a certain dollar value, also has a unique serial number which is the chance for a lucky draw. The prizes at this draw includes one Honda City and three Maruti Alto cars.
