ScanSoft’s: speech recognition software

ScanSoft Inc has launched Dragon NaturallySpeaking v6, its latest speech
recognition software. This software is available in three levels of features and
functionality - Preferred, standard and essentials. Dragon NaturallySpeaking v6
supports Word English including US, UK, Indian and Asian English accents.

With this software users can create documents, navigate all Microsoft
Windows-based programs and surf the Web – all by voice. It offers a vast
vocabulary and features that allows users to automate processes and functions
for fast hands-free document creation and computer navigation. The Dragon
NaturallySpeaking v6 can convert voice into text up to 160 words-per-minute.

The preferred version of this software is available at Rs 20,000, while the
standard version is Rs 28,000 and essentials at Rs 6,500.
