New Update

Grifin Technologies has launched a data access and user authentication system
called SecuriKey. This is a small USB token which, when inserted into a PC’s
USB port, acts like a key that allows the user to access the PC. The SecuriKey
system offers a two-factor authentication to a Windows logon. The device works
with Microsoft EFS to protect data files. The SecuriKey comes with an
installation wizard and requires Windows 2000 or Windows XP for operation. This
USB token comes in two editions: Personal and professional. The personal edition
comes in a metal packaging and has two tokens in it, where in one can be used as
a spare. The Professional edition comes in pack of over five tokens, wherein
corporates can buy as many tokens as per their need. SecuriKey also allows for
administration of whole network from one management console.

Advertisment

It also does not require PKI infrastructure and protects connected systems on
a network.

It also works with Active Directory.
