Select Technologies, a subsidiary of WeP Peripherals Ltd, initiated a
customer’s interaction forum to have better understanding about their needs.
Entitled e-Storm, the company held its first customer interaction meet at Goa
between 13-15 February, which attracted over 62 end-customers, 20 partners and
10 vendors to educate customers about their products and to get feedback about
the issues faced by customers. e-Storm is slated to become an annual affair
henceforth.
States Byju Pillai, President, Select Technologies, "The need for such
an event stems from the company’s positioning as a value-added technology
enabler for its customers." According to him, it was important for the
company to have first-hand knowledge about the requirements of customers.
"The company’s business model is to align with small technology providers
and to bring cutting edge technology to customers in the Indian market."
Select Technologies already has a range of products under the Ace brand, most
of which are manufactured by the company.
These are products in the networking space with a current revenue of Rs 14
crore but which is expected to rake in Rs 24 crore during the next year.
