SSA introduces BI solution

SSA Global announced the availability of Business Intelligence (SSA BI)
solution that delivers reporting, analysis, monitoring and notification
functionality in a single, easy-to-integrate solution.

By delivering a single solution with full business intelligence capabilities,
SSA Global is helping customers improve decision support for their overall
operations through a streamlined implementation process and reduction in
complexity for end-users.

SSA BI has been integrated with SSA ERP and there are plans to integrate the
solution with other SSA Global applications.

Powered by Cognos BI and planning tools, SSA Business Intelligence is based
on a single architecture and features a centralized database for metadata to
help put data into a meaningful business context. To facilitate simplified
implementation, SSA BI is Web-based and includes pre-defined integrations and
content.

SSA BI is a core component of SSA Open Architecture, for the enablement of
service-oriented architecture (SOA) from SSA Global. The SSA BI solution enables
the SSA Decision Services tier of SSA Open Architecture by delivering dynamic
reporting capabilities so decision-makers at all levels of an organization have
the flexibility to analyze specific business issue from multiple perspectives in
order to identify and solve business problems.
