Infotecnics, a new entrant in the Next 25 Group, posted a growth of nearly 23 percent and increased its revenue to Rs 43 crore. The reasons as put by Sanjiv Bhavnani, CEO, are a focus on verticals like telecom, finance and banking and manufacturing, coupled with an understanding of high-end technologies.
Last year also saw Infotecnics merge with Bangalore-based Vishesh Systems, which already held a 33-percent equity. The new entity is now called Vishesh
Infotecnics.
The network integration and hardware skills of Infotecnics will be complemented by the software skills of Vishesh. "We will now be able to deliver end-to-end solutions to our customers," says
Sanjiv.
The merged entity is looking at achieving Rs 70 crore in the current fiscal. "This is possible because we will now be adding more value," adds a confident
Sanjiv.
With its undivided focus on providing solutions and services to the verticals including the telecom industry, it should not be a tough cookie, for the telecom industry is booming. And a client list that includes both Hutch and Bharti, Sanjiv is steering the ship like an able captain.
With Vishesh bringing an overseas market presence through an office in Boston, USA, to the relationship, the company is exploring ways for increasing presence there as well. "We are also looking at Thailand and neighboring countries as prospective markets," informs
Sanjiv.
