TVS- E launches UPS for small work groups

TVS Electronics introduced two new UPS’ - 800 VA and 1000 VA ratings under its StartUPS brand. The new range operates on a wide input range of 140 to 300 V, which will help the product work well in tier II & III markets. The StartSmart feature will increase battery life by preventing deep discharge of the batteries. The Automatic Voltage Regulation provided by StartUPS corrects low and high input voltage to provide a safe out put for your PC. Packed with protection for modems and LAN in the form of a CyberJack, the StartUPS range enables intelligent communication with the UPS using Rakshak software, which also facilitates a graceful shutdown under various alarm conditions.

Growing usage of networked PC´s and an increasing number of peripherals is driving the market for 800 and 1000 VA UPS in the small enterprises. These variants will help in increasing the share of sub 1 KVA line-interactive UPS market. Though the current market for 800 VA and 1000 VA is small, a higher value to the customers will be offered to help consolidate StartUPS volumes in the near future. The 1000 VA UPS weighs 11 kg and works at a decibel level of less than 40 dBA.
