New Update

The first six months of last FY began on an upbeat note for the company, when
its revenues had actually grown. But this trend was reversed in the second half.
Though the company's overall growth slid by 10 percent, it scored five percent
growth in the bottom line.

Value Point Systems spent a better part of the latter half of the fiscal
consolidating its branches, hiving off non-performing units and actively
exercising cost cutting efficiently and prioritizing it on their agenda. After
the consolidation, the company restructured its sales organizations to
concentrate on product-wise approach instead of a common sales approach. This
has already started yielding results in the first quarter of the current fiscal.

Value Point has been focusing on the emerging markets for over past two
years. The company has also spread its customer-portfolio wisely, to include
government, education, PSU, biotechnology, life sciences, CROs, pharmaceuticals,
manufacturing, health care, etc.
